Mindless nitpick = The genus Araucaria itself is not in the Yixian although the leaf-taxon Brachyphyllum (which is probably an araucariacean or something similar) is reasonably common. The dominant lower Yixian Formation conifer is Schizolepis beipiaoensis (a true pine) followed by Elatocladus (a cypress) and Brachyphyllum. Hey - they're just trees...

To be fair, the form genus Araucarites (which is very similar to modern Araucaria) is often listed as part of the Jehol flora although I've never actually seen it figured anywhere - plus its absent from the otherwise most extensive illustrated review of Jehol plants (Shun-qing Wu, 2003 in Mee-mann Chang's "The Jehol Biota").
