I really like the way you were able to capture the iridescence on the comb jellies' cilia bands. Its difficult to make that look right.

Was this, perchance, inspired by that Bioluminescence exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History?

No, I didn't know about that exhibit; that would have been cool to see. It was for a ConceptArt contest about convergent evolution, but sadly there were only two entries so it never went to voting...
